This is a burly, fitted sock with protective padding in the right thicknesses where most needed. The reinforced toes, heel, and shin pads allow you to lace tightly with no pressure. The Merino wool fibers breathe, insulate when damp, and are virtually itch free. Kenetrek Alaska socks are made in the USA.
