STRAIGHT PULL RIFLE- Instead of pulling your bolt up and back, a straight pull rifle allows you to pull it straight back and then push back in to engage the next round into the chamber. Savage has designed a patented ball-bearing system to prevent the bolt from coming out of place when your shot is fired. Their design allows the bolt to be converted to left-handed use easily by switching the knob head. This bolt handle design actually doubles as a key— you can literally take the knob off and the gun is locked and unusable. The safety & the magazine release are also ambidextrous and usable for left-handed shooters.
